    Cerebral palsy is a condition occurs after some damages in the brain during, before and after the birth of the infant. It is very important for parents to know about cerebral palsy. In every 1000 birth of an infant 2 to 3 infant affected with cerebral palsy. In this condition, muscles become stiff and rigid. The child affected with cerebral palsy loss the ability to control their muscles. This due to lack of coordination between brain and muscles. Muscle tone, spasticity, rigidity, athetosis, delay in developing motor skills, difficulty in walking, the problem in sitting up alone or crawling, eating or sucking problem, excessive drooling or problem with swallowing, seizures, delay in speech development are some common cerebral palsy symptoms in children. Periventricular leukomalacia, abnormal development of the brain, intracranial hemorrhage, lack of oxygen during birth, infection before or during the birth, and brain damage after birth are some common causes of cerebral palsy in children. There are major four types of cerebral palsy. Spastic cerebral palsy is one of the most types of cerebral palsy. In cerebral palsy 70 to 80 % children affected with spastic cp.

    The treatment of cerebral palsy from the root is not possible because the damage of brain cannot recover but management can be possible after some therapy, medicines and surgery treatment. We can improve the life of cerebral palsy life others normal life using these treatments. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language therapy most commonly use for cerebral palsy treatment. In most critical cases for better adjustment of bones or muscles, surgery is required.
